Exquisitely elegant and impressively tenacious, we swoon all summer over larkspur’s ivory double-blooms with glorious chartreuse margins. Often 3+ feet tall, spires of blossoms stack on strong stems perfect for cutting as hummingbirds and butterflies flock to our larkspur. 50 seeds
Direct Sow (recommended): Sow seeds 1/4″ deep in early spring for summer blooms or in fall for blooms the following year. Darkness is required for germination. Seeds do not germinate well when soil temperatures are above 55°F. Speed up germination by chilling seed in refrigerator or freezer for a week before sowing. Plants should ideally stay above freezing but below 55°F for the first six weeks of growth.
Transplant: Sow seeds 1/4″ deep in 2″ soil blocks 4 weeks before final frost. Sow 2 seeds per block, thinning to one. Transplant with care to avoid disturbing the taproot.
